This retro, midcentury Drexel âDâ and logo takes us back to the days when Drexel was known as the Drexel Institute of Technology. The school itself was formally founded in 1891 (though it recently acquired the Academy of Natural Sciences, which opened in 1812), and became the Drexel Institute of Technology in 1936.
