This vintage Jack the Bulldog design gives you a little taste of everything Georgetown, including the laurel flourishes for a more collegiate look (after all, Georgetown is one of America’s quintessential college campuses). Jack, like Georgetown’s rich athletic and academic histories, is steeped in tradition; the sports teams often used dog mascots through the 1900s, until finally settling on the tenacious bulldog as their preferred mascot breed. Then, the first-ever Jack debuted in 1964, a nickname derived from his registered name, Royal Jacket.
