Vintage New Mexico Lobos Mascot Ringer Tee

This vintage UNM Lobos design dates back to the midcentury, most likely the 1940s. Much like his mascot counterparts of the era, you’ll often find the Lobo in a classic, collegiate sweater (as he is here), or a sailor hat. Prior to adopting the “Lobos” nickname and mascot, UNM athletic teams were simply known as the “University Boys” and the “Varsities.”
