UTEP 1980's "Miner Magic" Tee
To celebrate the UTEP programs of the 1980ās, we recreated this ā80s vintage āMiner Magicā mark. āMiner Magicā evokes some of UTEPās great moments from the decade, including Miner football in 1988. After almost two decades without a bowl invitation (and a 26-123 record from 1975 to 1987), Bob Stull coached UTEP to a 10-2 season and an Independence Bowl bid. Their admirable second place finish in the Western was a testament to the turnaround Stull helped facilitate for the Miners.
