UT Vols Pride of the Southland Vintage Tee
The University of Tennessee band began playing in 1869 as a part of the schoolâs military program and became known as the âPride of the Southlandâ in 1949. Before every home game in Knoxville, the band marches to the stadium through the heart of campus, playing âRocky Topâ almost the entire way. Fans and alumni love the Salute to âThe Hill,â where the band stops at the oldest section of campus and pays tribute to the history and tradition of the university.
