Tulane Baseball 1965 Stephen Martin Sr. Snapback
In 1965, Tulane baseball player Stephen Martin Sr. was the first Black athlete to compete in any sport in the Southeastern Conference. Martin, a freshman, made his debut against in-state (and, at the time, in-conference) rival LSU during a double-header. To honor Martin and the 1965 Tulane baseball team, we recreated the caps the team wore that season, with a high crown and structure similar to an on-field cap. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
