Texas Basketball 1997 "Runnin' Horns" Long Sleeve
Though the team sought its identity in prior years, the Texas Longhorns menâs basketball team found its groove under coach Tom Penders. Incorporating a pro-style running game and pressure defense, the âRunninâ Hornsâ earned their nickname through their constant, speedy style of play. We incorporated elements of their 1997 jerseys into this design (a year they made the Sweet Sixteen), including the âTexasâ from the front of their uniforms and the âRunninâ Hornsâ logo on their shorts.
