This design honors the 1984-85 St. John’s men’s basketball team, who made their way to the 1985 men’s Final Four. Coached by Lou Carnesecca, St. John’s dominated the Big East; Chris Mullin and co. won the regular season championship and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Though they ultimately fell in the tournament to conference foe Georgetown, the team earned its best postseason finish since 1952.
