We were inspired by Seminole basketball jerseys of the 1990ās for this design, with a simple, arched āFloridaā and āStateā beneath it; on actual jerseys, the number sat nestled in the center. Around this time, FSU menās basketball had just joined the ACC, making an early splash by finishing second in the conference in their first year of membership in 1992. Famed players of the era included Sam Cassell, Bob Sura, and two-sport athlete Charlie Ward.
